Engeco has always been committed to actively contributing to the development of the Principality and the well-being of its inhabitants.
Since 1984, we have been providing our experience, human resources, innovations and technical prowess to the Principality, both in the construction of new buildings and in the renovation of existing heritage.
Engeco has been involved in some of the biggest public projects in the Principality of Monaco:
The Yacht Club de Monaco, the underground re-routing of the railway line between Cap d'Ail and the Principality, the railway station, the breakwater and counter-jetty providing shelter and mooring for large boats and their passengers at the Gare Maritime, the thalassotherapy centre, the Cap Fleuri II residence in Cap d'Ail (senior citizens' residence, EPHAD), numerous public buildings, underground car parks and road tunnels;
L'Entrée de Ville Ouest Supérieure (the Upper West Entrance to the City, which will link the Jardin Exotique district to Monaco's CHPG hospital and the Fontvieille district. The new bus station, pedestrian tunnels and their public lifts, 15 floors of underground car parks with 1,820 spaces and finally a secure storage area for works of art and fine foods and wines covering an area of 1,200 m2. Engeco is a signatory of the Pacte National pour la transition énergétique (National Energy Transition Pact) and of the Charte Bois (Wood Charter). It has several projects with recognised environmental certifications, including HQE®, BREEAM and BD2M, and is committed to ensuring its projects are environmentally friendly.
We give priority to communication and to informing local residents about the construction phases and the actions taken to minimise the impact of the work in progress on the quality of life of residents.
